The Improper Diet Can Cause Myopia For Children

People usually think that the myopia of children is caused by bad lines of sight, wrong sitting positions or some other factors. However, according to the latest research, the improper diet is also an important factor of causing myopia for children. In order to help children avoid getting myopia, it is essential to supplement some nutrients for them. Except protein and vitamins, calcium, chromium and hard foods are also necessary. The lack of calcium, chromium and hard foods can probably cause myopia.
Calcium is a kind of ordinary element for us. The main effect of it is to accelerate the growth of the bones and prevent rickets for children. Few people connect it with the health condition of eyes. According to the medical experts, the lack of calcium is an important factor of causing unhealthy development of eyesight and even myopia. The lack of calcium can cause the hydraulic pressure inside the eyeballs to be unstable, which can cause the abnormal growth of the eyes. Many foods contain abundant calcium, such as milk, bean products, fish, animal bones and so on. When people eat these foods, they can eat yolks, green vegetables and animal livers at the same time. These foods contain abundant vitamin D, which can improve the absorption and utilization of calcium for the human body.
Chromium is a kind of essential mineral element needed by the human body. It can maintain the balance of osmotic pressure. The imbalance of osmotic pressure can cause protrusion of crystalline lens and further cause myopia. According to the calculation of the experts, children need about 50 to 200 micrograms of chromium. In order to supplement chromium for children, mothers should provide corn, meat, cream and yolks for children every day.
In addition, mothers should provide some hard foods for children every day. Hard foods can increase the frequency and potency of eating and accelerate the development of eyesight for children. According to the medical research, the children who always eat soft foods like noodles are easy to get myopia, and the children who often eat some hard foods usually have normal eyesight. Chewing potency can increase the power of facial muscles including ocular muscles so as to make the muscles have the ability of adjusting crystalline lens. Suitable hard foods for children mainly include carrot, fruits, and bean products and so on. These foods all contain abundant nutrients for children to grow healthily.

What Does Five Cs Of Credit Mean?

A method used by lenders to determine the credit worthiness of potential borrowers. The system weighs five characteristics of the borrower, attempting to gauge the chance of default.
The five Cs of credit are:
-Character
-Capacity
-Capital
-Collateral
-Conditions
This method of evaluating a borrower incorporates both qualitative and quantitative measures. The first factor is character, which refers to a borrower's reputation. Capacity measures a borrower's ability to repay a loan by comparing income against recurring debts. The lender will consider any capital the borrower puts toward a potential investment, because a large contribution by the borrower will lessen the chance of default. Collateral, such as property or large assets, helps to secure the loan. Finally, the conditions of the loan, such as the interest rate and amount of principal, will influence the lender's desire to finance the borrower.

What Does CAMELS Rating System Mean?

An international bank-rating system where bank supervisory authorities rate institutions according to six factors.
The six factors are represented by the acronym "CAMELS."
The six factors examined are as follows:
C - Capital adequacy
A - Asset quality
M - Management quality
E - Earnings
L - Liquidity
S - Sensitivity to Market Risk
Bank supervisory authorities assign each bank a score on a scale of one (best) to five (worst) for each factor. If a bank has an average score less than two it is considered to be a high-quality institution, while banks with scores greater than three are considered to be less-than-satisfactory establishments. The system helps the supervisory authority identify banks that are in need of attention

Salesman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Manager says: 'Do you have any sales experience?'
The Indian says: 'Sir, I was a salesman back home in India.'
Well, the boss liked the Indian chappie so he gave him the job. 'You
start tomorrow.. I'll come down after we  close and see how you did.'
His first day on the job was rough but he got through it.
After the store was locked up, the boss came down.
'How many sales did you make today?'
Indian boy says: 'Sir, Just ONE sale.'
The boss says: 'Just one? No! No! No! You see here our sales people
average 20 or 30 sales a day.' If you want to keep this job, you'd
better be doing better  than just one sale. By the way, how much was
the sale for?'
Indian boy says: ' $101 237. 64'
Boss says: '$101 237. 64? What the hell did you sell?'
Indian boy says: 'Sir, First I sell him small
fishhook.
Then I sell him medium fishhook.
Then I sell him large fishhook.
Then I sold him new fishing rod and some fishing gear.
Then I ask him where he's going fishing and he said
down on the coast, so I told him he'll be needing a
boat, so we went down to the boating department and I
sell him twin engine Chris Craft.
Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would
pull it, so I took him down to our automotive
department and sell him that 4X4 Blazer.
I then ask him where he'll be staying, and since he
had no accommodation, I took him to camping department
and sell him one of those new igloo 6 sleeper camper
tents.
Then the guy said, while we're at it, I should throw
in about $100 worth of groceries and two cases of
beer.
The boss said: 'You're not serious? A guy came in here
to buy a fishhook and you sold him a boat, a 4X4 truck
and a tent?'
Indian boy says: 'No Sirji, actually he came in to buy
Sanitary napkins for his wife, and I said: Well, since u have nothing
to do for another 4-5 days,  fishing is
the best way to relax your mind and pass time.'

Mother

My mom only had one eye. I hated her... she was such an embarrassment.

She cooked for students & teachers to support the family. There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me.

I was so embarrassed.

How could she do this to me?

I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out.

The next day at school one of my classmates said, 'EEEE, your mom only has one eye!'

I wanted to bury myself.
I also wanted my mom to just disappear.
I confronted her that day and said, ' If you're only goanna make me a laughing stock, why don't you just die?'

My mom did not respond...
I didn't even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because
I was full of anger.
I was oblivious to her feelings.

I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her.

So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.

Then, I got married.
I bought a house of my own.
I had kids of my own.
I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts, then one day; my mother came to visit me.

She hadn't seen me in years and she didn't even meet her grandchildren.

When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited.

I screamed at her, 'How dare you come to my house and scare my children!'  GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!'

And to this, my mother quietly answered, 'Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,' and she disappeared out of sight.

One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house.

So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip.

After the reunion, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity.

My neighbors said that she died.
I did not shed a single tear.
They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.

' My dearest son,
I think of you all the time. I'm sorry that I came to your house and
scared your children.  I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion.  But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you.
I'm sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were
 growing up.

You see........when you were very little, you got into an accident, and
 lost your eye.
As a mother, I couldn't stand watching you
having to grow up with one eye.
 So I gave you mine.
I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my
 place, with that eye.

With all my love to you,
 Your mother.

Always tell someone that you love them because you never know what day will be their last, or your own.

Always seek to resolve your problems or disagreements with loved ones because if either of you should pass on before, the one who is left alive will have the rest of their life to ponder those unresolved feelings but will never find closure. And closure usually brings peace.

Top 10 Essential Health Tips for 2011

1. Move More
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators.
Walk your dog; chase your kids; toss balls with friends, mow the lawn. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute aerobic dance class or tai chi or kickboxing. But that's great when you're up to it. Meanwhile, move more.

2. Cut Fat
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise.

3. Quit Smoking
The jury is definitely in on this verdict. Ever since 1960 when the Surgeon General announced that smoking was harmful to your health, Americans have been reducing their use of tobacco products that kill. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens. Could it be the Hollywood influence? It seems the stars in every movie of late smoke cigarettes. Beware. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' stance of Hollywood smokers. Also, the trend to quit smoking has been slow to follow in France.

4. Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking water is still one of the healthiest things we can do. Water is essential for virtually every function of the body. The average person needs eight 8-ounce glasses a day. Drink with meals, as well as before, during and after exercise. During exercise, cold water is more readily absorbed.

5. Reduce Stress
Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e., Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible.

6. Avoid Excessive Alcohol Consumption
While recent studies show a glass of wine or one drink a day can help protect against heart disease, drinking more than that can cause health problems such as liver and kidney disease as well as cancer.

7. Keep a Positive Mental Outlook
There's a definitive connection between living well and healthfully and having a cheerful outlook on life. Remember, you can't be unhappy when you're smiling!

8. Protect Yourself from Pollution
If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when the air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution and dirt deterrent.

9. Floss Your Teeth
Recent studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why. Perhaps it's because people who floss tend to be more health conscious than people who don't?

10. Choose Your Parents Well
The link between genetics and health is a powerful one. But just because one or both of your parents died young in ill health doesn't mean you cannot counteract the genetic pool handed you. Follow these ten basic tips for healthy living and you can better control your own destiny.
